Today me and my dearest friend Niv went to a casting call in London's East End- the famous Brick Lane. It was called 'The Boy who saved the world', originally a book written by Sam Mills. We went there for a bit of an experience in the acting world- something i've been dying to do for absolute ages!! Niv originally decided she was going to audition with me too, but after a good twenty minutes of finding the place ( even a few brief moments of time standing right outside the building- yet heading in the other direction) she then decided that she maybe didnt want to audition.

She then played the role of a supportive friend, while i was given my sides to learn. The atmosphere was calm and collective- something i ddint quite expect. I was extremely nervous as it was my first time doing something like that and i wanted to impress.

When i went in i was greated by happy faces, and the whole experience seemed to be much more pleasant than i imagined. I felt like they really made an effort to get to know me and helped me really understand the character of Padma.

The irony of the whole day however came when we were just about to step on the train back home, Niv decided she wanted o actually do. Laughing , we trudged back and she gave it her best shot too. After making a couple friends and having a surprisingly brilliant time, we left for home.

The auditions are going to continue next Saturday for anybody who missed it this saturday In The Rag Factory, London. Be sure to go!!

A-level results day !!

Well done to all the year 13's at school today for doing so well!! Let me tell you, whether your going to uni or taking a gap year - next year is going to be the best year of your life. New locations, new experiences, new friends. I remember last year- i was lucky to have my friend from school Gemma going to the same uni as me. I guess my main fear was that she was going to make new friends and leave me all alone- but since starting uni i realised that she's actually a very shy person , and we've become even closer this year.

We've had a lot of fun times and along with our other relli close friend katherine we caused a riot. Im just glad now to go to uni and move into our new house ( big move from halls of residence!!) I look forward to having an even more amazing seconds year, being more stronger and mature.

Model of the Moment- Sasha Pivovarova

I had heard of the name Sasha Pivovarova before and knew she was a big deal in the fashion world- however she only became included in my top model of the moment lists when i read a feature about her in last months GLAMOUR magazine. It was only then i came to know the beautiful Sasha and her delicate dainty doll like features, where i think is key to the fashion world. I like the fact that shes a smart and educated model who has a university degree in art history. I also liked the beauty advice she gave in the article- she has a lot of the same skin problems i do, so i found her advice very helpful.
One of her first jobs was for Prada where she bagged an exclusive three year contract thereafter.

She then went onto grace the famous vogue cover as one of the ten up and
coming fashion models of today.

This has led to her gracing many international VOGUE covers. She is truly a superstar supermodel in the making and at 24 years old still has a long way to go!! BEST OF LUCK :) xxx
