Lena Dunham's book 'Not That Kind Of Girl'

I have already pre-ordered Lena Dunham's book 'Not That Kind Of Girl' and I can't wait to read in print what she has to say about her life experiences so far. If Girls is anything to go by, then the book is bound to be a best-seller with a thick seal of critical approval. It just so seems that everything Lena touches turns to gold- And the same can be said for her YouTube channel in which she released a slew of advice videos earlier this week. No doubt, her advice is better than any therapist, talk show host and friend put together. Her intelligence of what it's really like to be a young woman in their twenties is resident in her beautifully worded, resourceful, humorous answers. A round-up of some of her best answers to the questions people wrote into her about are below.

Can I still be a feminist and dress provocatively?
Your political pursuits are what's allowing you to show off your body in an unmolested way.

I have this habit of sleeping with guys who treat me horribly. How do I break this vicious cycle?
When you feel a lot of negativity towards yourself, you're almost sexually attracted to people who are going to reflect that back at you.

As a young writer, were you made to feel insecure about writing from your own life experience?
The personal is political. By sharing your own stories you're essentially performing a sense of activism which is happening right now.

What do you do when you come face to face with someone who gave you hell at school?
You're probably going to feel pity for someone who felt the need to behave that way. You're going to feel a deep sympathy and a total non-desire to scream at them.

I can't seem to stop having bad sex. How do I combat this?
Having good sex involves two people who want to make each other feel good. It's an alchemy.

How do I deal with my unfunny girlfriend?
I think humour is essential. It's right up there on the relationship criteria list with 'don't hit me in the face' and being vaguely attractive.

How do I deal with the fear of death?
I was just lying in bed the other day pretending I was on the verge of dying and looking out of the window thinking what if this was the last day I existed? And I was totally cool with it.

Lady Gaga Fashion Icon

Lady Gaga for me just has it. All of it. The fame, the fortune, the talent and the creative intellect. With a new batch of rising stars who insist on pushing the boundaries in terms of fashion, the dismissal of Lady Gaga's artistic naturalism is far too easy in order to stay relevant. However, when she burst on the scene a few years ago she provided a unique platform for the erratic amongst us to illustrate a new persona each time we feel like. There's something so gifted in the way she presents herself that I can't help but to capitalise on her iconic fashionista status. And ofcourse, her 2014 looks so far slays the rest of the competition. Werq.

Best Dressed From New York Fashion Week

It seems as if New York Fashion Week has been a bit under the radar this year. There's too much else happening in the world that's stealing the attention, but fret not- fashion's finest have made sure that it isn't an event to be missed. From Kendall Jenner's precious backstage moments to David Beckham and Anna Wintour lining the front row in support of Victoria Beckham, NYFW is striving for momentum. As NYFW continues, I'll wait till the end to do a fashion round-up of the kooky, futuristic and downright bizarre items of clothing that society tells us to envision ourselves wearing. In the meantime, let's have the look so far of all the celebrities who graced fashion's most expressive week in person.

Best Quotes From Season 2 Of Orange Is The New Black

So I took my time with season 2 of Netflix's Orange Is The New Black because I knew there would be a long gap before season 3 came out. Finishing the season does indeed leave an empty space in your heart, which I was secretly hoping for. I only found out about OITNB a couple months earlier and as much as I hate following a 'hype'- this show drew me in. The casting is incredible, the writing is impeccable, and the storyline is engaging. I was so disappointed at the show's snub at the Emmys this year, as I hoped this forward thinking fresh new show would walk away with multiple gongs- But it wasn't meant to be this year. In the meantime, I've rounded out some of the best quotes from my favourite characters.

LARRY BLOOM- If only my nipples smelled like marzipan.
PIPER CHAPMAN- I have been here for less than two weeks. I've been starved out, felt up, teased, stalked, threatened, and called Taylor Swift.
ALEX VAUSE- Maybe I'll be nice, and maybe I won't. But if I am nice, the things you feel, it will ruin you forever.

Best Quotes From Season 2 Of Orange Is The New Black

NATALIE FIGUEROA- I'm only here as formality.
SUSAN FISCHER- The only difference between us is that when I made bad decisions in life I didn't get caught. It could've been me here in khaki, easy.
MENDEZ- Mendez is back, bitches.
JOHN BENNETT- It'd look funny, like I liked you.
SAM HEALY- Lesbian Request Denied.

Best Quotes From Season 2 Of Orange Is The New Black

RED- I'm missing half my zucchini. These girls don't realize I'm here to provide food, not dildos.
NICKY- Next time, just sit on her face. It shuts her right up.
CRAZY EYES- Before I met you the sun was like a yellow grape. But now, it looks like fire in the sky. Why? Because you light a fire inside me.
TAYSTEE- So I'm sitting there, barbecue sauce on my titties, and I'm like 'What the fuck? Again?

Best Quotes From Season 2 Of Orange Is The New Black

PENNSATUCKY- I'm not crazy,  I'm chosen.
VEE- I'm an adult. It gives me the right to make bad choices.
POUSSEY- Don't ever call a black guard 'Sister'.
CARRIE- Okay bitches, who's first in line for some puppy loving?

The Budweiser Made in America Festival

The Budweiser Made in America Festival kicked off simultaneously in Philadelphia and Los Angeles in a two day weekend event. Sponsored by Anheuser-Busch and produced by Live Nation (Jay Z), the festival was a culmination of all things hip hop, EDM & rock. Even though the event is in its third year, it was only this year where I took interest. Critics of the event have been blasting it in comparison to the commercialised success of Coachella and certain alliances between the LA Mayor and Jay Z - But I think there's a certain freshness to this particular festival. No monumental hype, no exclusive previews, no festival fashion. A certain grimy authenticity that transports you to the past, yet very much keeps you alive in the moment. Make sure to check out just a few of the highlights below!

Kanye West
David Macklovitch- Chromeo
Bid Daddy Kane
J Cole
Chelsea Tyler- Kaneholler

Iggy Azalea
Rita Ora
Jamie Chung
Amber Rose
Kellan Lutz
