Rochelle Humes' SS15 Collection For Very

'I was always the tallest member in The Saturdays and now I feel tiny next to these gorgeous models!'- Rochelle Humes

I was invited down to witness Rochelle Humes' SS2015 collection for at Somerset House last night and it was a gem of a surprise. After running into some familiar faces amongst the drinks reception we were ushered into The Portico Rooms where the catwalk began. An array of gorgeous smiling models displayed her tailored dresses complete with prints and casual feminine tops- totally championing the womanly silhouette. This is the collection to turn to to unveil your ladylike self! The lady of the night Rochelle Humes then came out to deliver a brief but heartfelt speech and was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for her inspiring efforts.

The celeb spots of the night included the JLS boys (selfie down below!), Melvin Odoom, Lilah Parsons, Frankie from The Saturdays and Neon Jungle.

Interview with Blogger Angela Giakas from The Sunday Chapter

"I want my blog to be a happy place, where people can go to escape"- Angela Giakas

Angela Giakas from The Sunday Chapter
Bloglovin' is an incredible platform to connect with your favourite blogs and discover new ones. Amongst one of my favourite new discoveries is The Sunday Chapter by the gorgeous Angela Giakas. A beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger with a difference, Angela understands the difficult balance between creating content for her own needs and helping others make it through the day. Whilst her fashion and beauty posts are a hands-down must-view, it's her inspiration lists which are an absolute breath of fresh air. Posts such as 101 Little Things To Be Happy About and 25 Things I Wish I Figured Out Sooner are material that everyone should interpret to their own needs. Angela's writing style is one of a woman writing to inspire herself in the comfort of her bedroom but championing the success of others by sharing it. How many people would give away the secret to their happiness? Frankly, I also need to read more blogs like Angela's as I'm personally drawn to a more darker grungier style of work- But her aura of beauty and light is much welcomed and draws me out of hiding. I love her work so much, that I invited her over for a chat at Spilling The Beans.

Growing up
I moved around a lot when I was younger, so I was never in one place for too long. I grew up more towards the country side, surrounded by pretty sceneries and open spaces. Despite my love for the city, I’ll always have a soft spot for it.

Ambition as a child
I wanted to be a singer, or something in the music industry. I took lessons for about 10 years, and I still absolutely love it, but maybe not enough to pursue it.

 Top three role models
I can really only think of my mum here. She is my world and inspires me everyday.

Top 3 beauty items
My Anastasia eyebrow kit, make-up remover wipes and lip balm.

Favourite book
Is it weird I don’t really have a favourite book? I never used to read much until recently (currently reading Girl Boss, highly recommend!) so I’ll have to keep you updated on that one.

Dream job
This has always been a hard question for me. I guess something that involves beauty, fashion, travel and photography. Does that job exist?

Guilty pleasure
Ooh.. Geordie shore and Teen Mom! I love reality shows. Slightly obsessed, slightly ashamed haha.

Thing I love the most about myself
I have the biggest heart for animals. I'm very passionate against animal cruelty and testing. I used to write petitions when I was younger, and annoy my whole family to sign them haha. I just feel incredibly compassionate towards those who don’t have a voice.

Surprising fact
When I was about 14-15, I used to blog and I had a following from many successful bloggers today, even Zoella! My following grew quite big and eventually some of my "friends" found it and made fun of me for it. I deleted it (with much regret) because I was embarrassed. Blogging wasn't really a popular thing to do back then, especially in high school when all I was trying to do was fit in. It made me realise that you should never be friends with people who make you feel bad about the things you love. It’s weird to think if my life would be any different today from it.

Best moment of 2015 so far...
Booking my first trip overseas.

Visiting London
I'll be visiting for the first time in June. I'm SO EXCITED! I wish I was staying for longer though, it's one of the places at the top of my bucket list.

Inspiration behind my blog
I started it when I was in a dark place, and it was one of the only things that kept me happy. I used to only blog about beauty, but since expanded to lifestyle posts. I want it to be a happy place, where people can go to escape if they're having a bad day, need an easy recipe or help with make-up. I love being able to inspire others.

If I weren't blogging, I would be...
I honestly have no idea. Probably TV show marathons... (I wish I was joking).

Inspiration behind the inspiration lists
I've always written lists to deal with stress, things to do, etc. I just thought, why not share them with other people if it might help them as well? Writing lists always helps put things into perspective for me.

Envisioning the further success of The Sunday Chapter
I would love to venture into YouTube eventually and start doing some fashion/outfit posts! I have many exciting things planned :)

Life motto
“Surround yourself with the dreamers and the doers, the believers and thinkers, but most of all, surround yourself with those who see the greatness within you, even when you don’t see it yourself.”

Nikki Lipstick's S/S 2015 Collection

"Turning up to me is staying home and watching UFO footage on YouTube"- Nikki Lipstick

Who is Nikki Lipstick? For me personally, she's the woman I stumbled across on Instagram a couple months ago. Almost, like a long lost alter-ego she resonated with me immediately. As a dedicated lover of the #allblackeverything movement, I found her furry pink eclectic feed a sneaky sigh of relief. Her expression of freedom is unapologetic and she relentlessly champions individual freedom. For others, Nikki is the gorgeous purple haired founder of the bold fearlessly heroic #DOLLCULT movement- a quirky fashion line full of nip pasties, chokers and slogan tees. She's bold and perhaps even borderline offensive and we love her for it.

Nikki has personally mentioned in previous interviews that her clothes are an expression of individual style- things you wouldn't be able to find anywhere else. She started off as a hair and make-up artist, getting some models off Myspace to model for her. This spawned into the current day era of expressive Tumblr, where her popularity escalated. She's worked hard and it's evident. Nikki is the quintessential hero of digital media success and every little devil's best kept secret.

Just this week she's released her new S/S2015 Collection and it's safe to say she's paving the pink brick road to superstardom. Check out my favourite Nikki Lipstick picks below. Ohhh, hiiiiii!

My Mascara Secret: CODE VLM

Our Mission... "To be the leading global beauty fashion brand, trendsetter in cosmetics, educators in all things cool and beautiful and social conversation leaders…"- Code Beautiful

I'm a sucker for a good mascara and I think I've found the most incredible one yet! Currently, I refer to it as beauty's best kept secret, but Code VLM will soon be a cult favourite! This fabulous mascara was created by two women who were annoyed about the numerous promises other high street and high end mascaras offered. They spent over a year testing different formulas and finally came up with Code VLM. I have to admit when I first received the product, I was a little sceptical. I had been failed by so many different products that I thought this would be no different. I already have long lashes, but I need something that builds, separates and volumises my lashes without making it a massive spider clump. I headed straight to the net to source some reviews for Code VLM and low and behold, I saw an array of 5 stars and testimonials raving about its awesomeness. I tried it myself and it does just what it says- it separates my lashes easily and two layers are enough to build intense volume. I feel like I can use the wand to mould the own shape of my lashes which sounds insane, but easy to do! It lasts all day and best of all, it's easy to take off. No more tearing and tugging!
Like the 99% women before me, I would definitely recommend it to other people.

Kylie Jenner's Nip + Fab Ambassador Launch in London

"North West definitely inspires me the most when it comes to fashion"- Kylie Jenner

The beautiful Kylie Jenner was unveiled as the brand ambassador for Nip + Fab this week. The 17 year old jetted in from Los Angeles to attend the event held in her honour at Vue Westfield where she didn't look jet-lagged in the slightest. It's no secret that Kylie is one of my style icons. It's rare for someone that age to have such distinctively bold taste in style. It might be due to her expensive taste or long line of famous sisters to pave the fashionista way, but she sure does know how to stand out. Wearing my favourite thing, all black everything head to toe she looked edgy, on-point and sophisticated. Her bob looked uber cool and her cleavage looked insane. She most certainly dressed the part of an 'ambassador'. It's safe to say that the Nip + Fab products are going to fly off the shelf after a wise business move from Rodial founder Maria Hatzistefanis. Might have to have a little browse on the Nip + Fab website myself.

Jennifer Lopez's Hottest Fashion Moments!

"Hoop earrings were the hot thing for girls to wear back when I grew up in the Bronx. I try to keep my look evolving, but big hoops are the one thing from then I maintain"- Jennifer Lopez

Only Jennifer Lopez can look THIS good at 45 years old. She will be an eternal beauty crush who'll keep getting younger with age. Even with her fashion, she kills it. I like that she doesn't just dress for an 'event' but she puts on a performance. It always seems like half of it was thought out, yet the other half is an innate feeling from her Puerto Rican heritage and her Bronx upbringing. Sure she may have a little bit more money than the rest of us to afford a glam squad, but she still gives us hope that we can hit our mid-40s and still look bangin'. Below, I've rounded up just a few of her best looks in months past.

Life Updates: New Room, New Job & New Thoughts

"I found out that there weren't too many limitations if I did it my way."- Johnny Cash

Firstly, I know this is a different blog post than my usual flair for the odd celebrity. However every now and again, I like to personalise my blog with snippets of my life. There's so much going on right now that I thought this was the only outlet to share my thoughts and opinions. After all, there is a real 25 year old woman behind Spilling The Beans!

*I've moved out. And I have to admit it's scary! I moved out before when I headed South for university seven years ago- but I was doused with nervous excitement, wondering what adventures would lie ahead after a strict upbringing that barely allowed me to go out with my friends. Now the nervousness is intertwined with fear and anxiety. Maybe it's because over the years, I've been through a lot. A lot. Like anyone else, I want people to like me. And I want to feel at ease heading into new experiences which for so long have been alien to me.

*In terms of career aspects, I've done the rounds. My first love is writing; being able to pen my thoughts creatively. But getting in to the business is no easy feat. Don't get me wrong, I've had some incredible opportunities to grow but not disregarding the many times I've been talked down upon, been a victim of racism and literally burnt myself fetching a ridiculous coffee order. I guess that's why recently people are quick to report me being 'rude' but it's just me being quick to 'defend' myself. I will always be warm and welcoming- but I will never let anyone walk all over me.

*Currently I work front of house at a media production company which has recently merged with a heavyweight TV production company. I have two months left at a job I enjoy but unless I take action it won't get me anywhere. I also have managed to get a gig being a freelance reporter at the Mail on Sunday. Whenever I can I get to scoop out the latest goss at events and it's daunting but always a learning experience. In that respect, I was lucky enough to finally find a mentor who believed in me. I hope one day I can do that for someone else.

*In terms of personal problems, in the past year I've encountered the worst emotional blow that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. And I'll leave it that.

*Lastly, I hope to be fearless instead of fearful with what lies ahead. I want to explore, be wise, be spontaneous and explore the different depths of my personality and limits. Like life in general, there will be times when I'll be completely by myself and others when I'll be immersed in a large group. But the main thing is that I need to know it's okay to react in any given situation the way I do.

I'm always curious to know what's going on with other people. Drop me a comment below and update me!

MTV Movie Awards 2015 Nominations & Predictions

“I'm on a roller coaster that only goes up, my friend.”- Augustus Waters (The Fault In Our Stars)

So now that the more 'serious' award shows are out of the way, it paves way for the more light-hearted, fun and quirky award ceremonies to take place. The nominations for the 2015 MTV Movie Awards have been unveiled and of course Hollywood's brightest have been honoured. In particular, many superhero films were nominated as well as young book adaptations and more dramatic performances. The thing I love the most about this particular award show is the categories! I still have memories of watching the award show when I was super young and cringing when the 'Best Kiss' award was handed out, as my mum would be sitting in the same room as me. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that there's more of a welcome to the weird and wacky! The main event will be held on Sunday April 12th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California and it will be hosted by Amy Schumer. Check out my predictions below!

The Top Working Plus-Size Models Today

"I am always being asked to gain or lose weight, but I am at a point now where I don't care anymore. I love my body, I love my super-hourglass shape and I love showing it off"- Ashley Graham

'Plus-size' is a funny word.Too many people associate it with being 'fat' or 'overweight'- But let me assure you that the women I have featured on this post, I consider being the desired body type. In fact the plus size industry in general is one which I associate with positive vibes and health. Sure, there's a fascination and unwelcome desire within me to succumb to the skinny ideals of the media, but I'm more fascinated by looking at a woman who has curves, isn't afraid to flaunt it and better yet, looks after herself. Eating healthy and working out applies to everyone. Today, there are thousands of women setting their sights on being a 'plus-size' model, adamant to prove that beauty comes in all different shapes and form. However, there's only a handful at the top who aren't about to hand over their well-earned crown just yet. Check them out below.

Sports Illustrated, Elle, Vogue

Pirelli, Vogue Italia

HSN, Curvy Girls, Nordstrom

H & M, Seventeen, Glamour

Calvin Klein, Vice
